On Feb.1st, 1956, forty private metal machinery factories (shops) were merged into "state-private Quanchang machinery factory". This is the predecessor Of Nantong Machine Tool Works.
On July 1st, 1958, The factory changed its name as local state factory "Nantong Qiyi Machine Tool Works" And began to manufacture machine tools.
In 1959, The factory turned to manufacture the agriculture machinery And changed Its Name "Nantong Qiyi Agriculture Machinery Factory".
In August 1967, The factory restored its name "Nantong Qiyi Machine Tool Works"
In 1972,The factory was listed as the special manufacturer of milling machine by No.1 Machinery Building Ministry.
In 1974, the factory produced the first set of universal radial milling machine model X6325 in the Country.
On Oct. 30, 1978, The Factory had its formal name "Nantong Machine Tool Works" And its Produce milling machine model X6325 series was included as one type of six main machine tool products exporting to overseas by our country.
In Jan. 1981, The factory has imported Anilam CNC Control system from The United States and has successfully produced CNC milling machine dodel XK6325.
On Dec. 12, 1983, Former Vice-Premier Li Peng made an inspection to the factory.
On May 9, 1984, Former Vice-Premier Gu Mu made an inspection to the factory.
In cooperation With Tree Machine Inc.in June, The Factory designed and produced the first small vertical machining center XH5025 and fill in the gaps on the machinery field in our country.
In 1985 , Milling Machine Model NT-J320a,XXU6325 XX6325 And XU6325 Won The Titles Of Superior Quality Products Of Jiangsu Province and Machiney Ministry Of Our Country.
In 1986,The Factory was listed one of the first Three GroupS Of Nation'S export base Of machine tools. From then on and during five yeas, the economic efficiency of the factory standed the first place on the list among 74 main machinery enterprises of our country.
In July 1988,The factory got approval for the second class best enterprise In 1987 Annual By The Electrical And Machinery Ministry.On Dec.26th, Nantong Machine Tool Co., Ltd.(Group) was founded.
On Dec. 14th,1990,The factory won the Quality Prize awarded by Electrical and Machinery Ministry. This year, The Factory earned the foreign exchange over 10 Million U.S.Dollars, reached 10.02 Million U.S.Dollars.
On Jan. 8th, 1991, The celebration meeting of exceeding 10 Million U.S.Dollars of Electrical and Machinery Exported Products In Jiangsu Province was held in Nantong Machine Tool Co., Ltd.(Group).
In Oct. 1991, XK5032 CNC Milling Machine was awarded National Superior Quality Silver Medal.
In Dec. 1993,The Company won the title of "High-Tech Enterprise" awarded by science And Technology Committee Of Jiangsu Province.
On May 20th, 1994, Our stock "Nantong Machine" was on market In Shanghai Stock Exchange. It is the first company whose stock on market In Nantong. The Universal Radil Milling Machine Model X6325 And CNC Vertical Milling Machine Model XK5032 were awarded the title of "Famous Brand Products" In Jiangsu Province.
In 1995, The company got approval Of Iso9001 Quality System Certificate.
In August 1998, The company restructured with Jiangsu Tech Import And Export Company. The Sutech Co. became the first stockholder of the company. This Year Cooperated With U.S. Tree Machine Inc., the company has succeefully produced CNC Vertical Milling Machine Model J425 And Exported to the United States in large quantities. It is the first company whose CNC machines sold to the developed country in our country.
